threemenoneshed were asked by the Norwegian clothing manufacturer Helly Hansen to create the opening video presentation for their Annual General Meeting in Spain. The video a four minute presentation was created entirely in house utilising the latest video production software.
The brief was to create a compelling and inspiring video to be shown as the opener to the conference, but to be utilised and converted to become a sales presentation DVD, distributable MPEG and VHS / NTSC videos after the event.
The presentation was created using the archive footage of Helly Hansen taken from previous video shoots of both sponsored events and athletes. Some footage was supplied by international TV stations and was digitally converted by our associate television production facilities.
Further video was shot on location in Sardinia to finally complete the sequence which was then overlaid with strong graphical elements that make up the Helly Hansen Visual Language. threemenoneshed had the unique opportunity to take the visual language, originally designed for their print based collateral and create from scratch the motion graphics that would become the visual language for the DVD and future motion video productions.
The music for the DVD was specifically commissioned by threemenoneshed to create a layer of interest and feeling that complemented the visual look of the presentation without detracting from the visual experience.
The final presentation was mastered in both analogue and digital formats with a total of nearly 400 individual units shipped to 9 different countries, from Europe and Asia to the USA. These presentations will be shown on laptops and at tradeshows and exhibitions all over the world to thousands of people.
